St Lawrence O'Toole School supports the development of a rich Catholic community. We nurture and challenge our multi faceted K - 8 student body. Catholic Identity and Catholic Ministry are the keystones and foundation for teaching and learning.
We place the highest value on our faith and the way it touches every aspect of our lives. Students are taught to actively live their faith and to recognize the role it continually plays in helping them grow as caring, moral individuals.
At St. Lawrence O'Toole, our beliefs are woven throughout all facets of academic and social life. Our goal is to develop within each of our children a moral conscience, a soul, that will help guide them in today’s world.
While our curriculum emphasizes the Catholic faith, students are also taught to understand and respect people of every religious background. All are welcome.
Faith Families
Faith Families are a cross-grade experience led by eighth grade students. The eighth grade “parents” coordinate and lead activities, events and school liturgies to encourage student spirituality and sense of community.
Each Faith Family is a blend of students from different grade levels. Eighth grade students are designated “buddies” for every kindergarten students. Buddies allow for personal one-on-one attention to support our youngest students and integrate them into the SLOT community.
