Hello Parents:
I hope you all had a wonderful summer. Its that time for Volleyball.
Practice is early this year. It will start September 12. I will be having a coaches meeting on Sept 7 and I will find out the time for practice. We will be practicing on Tuesday and Thursday again.
So please get the girls Athletic participation Forms competed. A copy goes to the school and a copy goes to me.
Thank you and I am so excited to see the girls and all of you.

Unfortunately the 4Th Grade Girl's Volleyball Team lost to an even better volleyball team: St. Anthony's.
St. Anthony's Tigers beat (our Lady Tigers) easily in both matches: 25-8 and 25-13. The matches were not even close by any standard. St Anthony's was just better and stronger at serves, spikes and volleys.
It was a tearful loss for our girls who were truly saddened by the defeat.
Keep your heads held high girls. You won the 1st 9 games easily. All 10 games you played short 1 player, with 5 players only, the other teams received an extra point and an extra serve and you still beat 9 out of 10 teams. You showed true sportsmanship, teamwork, pride, and made your school and parents happy and proud!
Also on that note the CYO and EBPL needs to show the standings for the 4TH Grade Girl's Volleyball Teams and allow them to play in post-season...
At 9-1 the girls should have made the playoffs!
Congratulations to our girls.
Many thanks to the parents and friends who were there at games and practices to support our girls.
Thanks to Barry Campbell for all his help.
Mahalo and Aloha to Coach Dinna and Coach Jesse who provided help;
and of course to our girls:
You played a great season and from the school, church, parents, coaches, and students...
You are 100-0 in our hearts!!
Our 4TH Grade Girl's Volleyball continued their winning ways moving to a 4-0 record despite only having 5 players on the team. One of our players, Jordan Taylor is out with an injury and is not expected back until late December. The girls beat St. Phillip Neri's team for a 2nd time on Friday, November 20, 2015 by the scores of 25-20 and 25-15.
On Sunday, November 22, the girls continued with 2 impressive decisions over St. Jarlath scoring wins of 25-9 and 25-6 at St. Theresa's gym.
Way to go Lady Tigers!!!
Also, Thanks to Coach Dina and to 5TH Grade Coach, Bobby Critton, the girls from grades 4th and 5th Grade Volleyball got an opportunity to see the University of California Girl's Volleyball team play against the girls team from the University of Colorado. Although the Cal Bears team lost 3 straight sets to the Colorado Buffaloes, the SLOT girls got the opportunity to high five the Cal Bear girls before the game, meet and greet them after the game and get signed autographed shirts, posters, and magnets. It was a great night of fun, sportsmanship and learning.
Thanks Dina, Bobby, parents and students for representing SLOT school!
