St. Lawrence O’Toole was founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1949 and currently serves grades transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. We have provided an atmosphere for spiritual growth, academic excellence, physical and social development for more than 60 years.
Our goal is to educate students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens who are prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
Our strength lies within the culturally diverse population of our students, families and faculty. Our children are able to thrive given the personal attention they are able to receive due to our small class sizes and the commitment from our faculty and staff to provide a nurturing and academically rigorous environment based on curriculum aligned with the nationally recognized Common Core State Standards that includes a comprehensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program. We are proud of our students and alumni, who are successful, responsible, contributing members of our community and at-large.
I invite you to visit our campus, meet our students, and observe our classrooms. Please call the school office to schedule a tour at (510) 530-0266.
We look forward to your visit!
